What is dance therapy?

Dance therapy is a way of exploring emotions, experiences, and inner feelings through movement. It offers an opportunity to reconnect with your body, express yourself beyond words, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

Do I need to know how to dance?

No. Dance therapy is not about technique, choreography, or performance. There is no right or wrong way to move. You are invited to explore movement in a way that feels natural and comfortable for you.

What happens during a session?

Sessions may include guided movement, free improvisation, music, body awareness exercises, and moments of reflection. Each session is shaped around your needs, feelings, and intentions, allowing you to explore at your own pace.

How often do sessions take place?

Sessions usually take place once a week or every two weeks, depending on each person's needs, goals, and availability. The frequency can be adjusted throughout the process to provide the right level of support. Each session typically lasts 60–90 minutes, allowing time for movement, exploration, and reflection.
